A BIG thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to last week’s Genuine/MMF, “One Love Tea-Party”, graciously hosted at Sanderson on Berners St, W1. The tea and conversation flowed freely and the scones were scrumptious.

Present and correct were; James Hopkins, Vector Management (Kings Of Leon, Ke$ha, Meatloaf); Tom Carson, Music Manager for Jagermeister, UK; Erika Thomas & Ollie Oshodi, Account Directors, Cornerstone; Tara Austin, Senior Planner, Ogilvy & Mather; John Mulvey, Brand Manager, Marley’s Mellow Mood; Lynden Campbell, Head of Sync at The Domino Recording Co; Joey Swarbrick & Martha Kinn, Alley Cat Management (Rizzlekicks) ; Gary McClarnon, Sparklestreet Management (Mr Scruff); Assia Grazioli Venier, ATC Management / FlyPaper; Carrie Surtees, European Marketing Manager, Sony Network Entertainment; Gemma Greaves, Director Of Marketing, The Marketing Society; Hannah Thomson, Head of Communications, Genuine; Emma Inston, Marketing Director, Muzu TV and Jon Webster, CEO, The MMF.There was some great chat resulting from the central theme, ” One Love? Can Brand and Band partnerships be truly mutually beneficial”? Also, discussed were the impact of the Olympics on brand-band partnerships and, one of the key recurring themes of our previous meetings,  “Too Many Cooks” . With so many interested parties involved (artist manager, label, agencies and brand), how can clear objectives be set and achieved?

We plan to post a summary and analysis document resulting from this event shortly.

GENUINE BIG UPS Samm, Shalinee and Jonathan @Sanderson. Jon @ The MMF. Emma @ MUZU
